Tool releases for off-highway – Byte Performance weekly digest

Tool releases for off-highway: September 2026

Four releases this month that matter for agricultural, construction and truck workshops – two of them close long-standing gaps. Everything else Alientech and Autotuner published in September (Ford petrol, motorcycles, passenger cars) is left out on purpose.

Bosch EDC17CV54 – Autotuner, bench

The controller behind most AGCO tractors of the last decade – Massey Ferguson, Fendt 200 Vario, Valtra, Challenger – plus JCB Fastrac, John Deere compact 1R–4R, Deutz-Fahr, Landini, Same, Steyr, and a long construction list from Yanmar and Bobcat to Komatsu, Manitou and Wacker Neuson. Bench read in 45 seconds, checksum corrected. Release note →

Bosch MD1CE100 / MD1CE101 – Autotuner, bench

The Stage V generation: Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 (CORE75), Case IH Puma, Optum, Magnum and Quadtrac, New Holland T6–T9 and CR/CX combines, Claas Arion and Axion – and on the truck side MAN TG with D08, D26 and D38. Bench only, one-time unlock by mail-in, dedicated cable for New Holland and MAN. Release note →

Bosch MD1CS069 / MD1CE101 – Autotuner, OBD (beta)

The same CNH, Claas, SDF and Steyr generation over the diagnostic port, 11-minute read. Autotuner is asking for field logs – treat it as a beta and keep the bench route as the fallback. Release note →

Bosch ECM4 – Alientech KESS3 3.52, bench

Volvo FH, FM, FMX and FH16 (D13, D16K), Renault T, C and K (DE13) and Mack Anthem, Granite and Pinnacle (MP8) from model year 2022 – the 13-litre generation that was closed until now. Read and write via the ECU connector. Release note →

Files for these platforms: send us the machine, the engine and the software version. Original file supply, DTC logic and Stage 1 as usual. More on both tools: Autotuner on off-highway machinery · Alientech KESS3 on off-highway machinery · Bosch MD1CE101.
