The situation
The MF 7722 S is a typical workhorse on medium to large farms: ploughing, cultivating, transport. The owner did not need a headline horsepower figure – he needed more torque at working rpm and an end to the AdBlue-related warnings and limp-mode events that had already cost him a service call.
What we did
The EDC17CV41 is an ECU we know very well from Valtra, Massey Ferguson and Fendt applications. We developed a Stage 1 calibration for this software version with a focus on the 1,200–1,800 rpm band where the tractor actually works, and deactivated the SCR system including dosing, level monitoring, quality sensor logic and the associated torque-reduction strategy.
- Stage 1: more torque and power across the working range, conservative rail pressure and boost limits.
- AdBlue/SCR: full software solution – no dosing, no warnings, no derate, all DTCs handled.
The result
Noticeably stronger pull when ploughing and cultivating, lower fuel consumption per hectare thanks to the improved torque curve, and no more AdBlue downtime. The file went back the same day, checksum corrected, and was flashed by the dealer via OBD.
