| Solution | Stage 1 + DPF off* + EGR off* |
| Read / write | Bench / OBD, K-TAG / Flex |
The situation
Compact excavators live in rental fleets and on small sites, and the DPF is their weak point: short cycles, low exhaust temperatures, constant regenerations. This TB370 was losing time to regenerations and had already had EGR-related issues. The customer wanted a machine that just digs.
What we did
The Denso ECU on the TB370 is a platform we have developed several solutions for. For this machine we combined a moderate Stage 1 with a full DPF and EGR solution.
- Stage 1: 58 → 66 hp (+14%), better response at low rpm where the excavator actually works.
- DPF: regeneration disabled, soot model neutralised, sensors handled.
- EGR: closed in software – clean intake, stable temperatures.
- All DTCs handled, checksum corrected.
The result
+14% power, noticeably more pull in every position, no regenerations and no more downtime from the after-treatment system. For a rental fleet this is exactly the machine the customer wants to get back.
